IPSE & The Work Crowd: The Power of Networks

As part of The Work Crowd’s #FreelancerFriday, we have teamed up with IPSE (The Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed) to co-host a panel event discussing the power of freelance collaboration.

Collaborating with other freelancers has many benefits, including client referrals, establishing long-term partners to improve quality of projects, but also allows freelancers to free up their time to focus on the ‘bigger picture’ of their self-employment business. And as the pandemic supercharges the freelance economy, it is no surprise to see an uplift in freelance collaborations to cope with the surge in demand.

Chaired by Victoria Rodwell, Head of Partnerships, IPSE, our panel of experts include Author, Speaker, Trainer and Entrepreneur Alison Grade, Founder and MD of Raptor PR Rana Rahman and The Work Crowd Co-founder Madeleine Weightman.

Topics that were up for discussion:

  • The benefits of freelance networks
  • The growing landscape of freelance collaborations
  • How and where to build your networks
  • The methods behind effective freelance collaborations

Feel free to view the recording here for all the top tips and key take-aways discussed.
