UK Sustainability PR and Communications Role Supporting Carbon Credit Initiatives
We are looking to work with a UK-based comms expert with expertise in sustainability or corporate public relations to support us in the distribution and amplification of press releases for one of our clients. Communications will focus on sustainability, carbon credits and their global impacts. The ultimate objective is to attract funding and investment into major projects, particularly carbon credit initiatives in Uganda, while raising awareness of both our clients' positive impact on local communities and their contribution to global carbon offsetting.
Scope of work
We require support with:
Press release distribution - ensuring targeted and effective reach across UK and international sustainability, finance and corporate media.
Media monitoring - tracking placements and compiling coverage in line with our reporting templates.
Interview opportunities - securing 1–2 media interviews per press release, ideally with tier-one outlets.
Localisation of Content - adapting press releases for UK audiences with relevant tone, language and headlines.
Core topics
Sustainability initiatives in Africa, with a focus on Uganda.
The global significance of carbon credits.
Tangible community impacts in Uganda.
Investment opportunities and funding pathways for carbon initiatives.
